Default JJ Preflop Decision??

Great 40-80 game, sick action. UTG raises, MP 3-bets, CO caps(old, very tight player), SB coldcalls 3.5 bets. I am in BB with 2 black JJ?? If I call, whats the plan on the flop. Can I just lay it down and wait for a better spot as it is going to be very hard to win unimproved and I really don't want to play if my only chance to win is by spiking a set.

I would tend to fold em knowing all the action from UTG, MP and from the old tight guy you described. I think most pedestrian players would call though which I think is wrong.

I would muck, and then call a friend so I could brag about how cool I am.

If I had queens, I'd call, and then call a friend to cry about how I suck.

Muck??? If all will call (and most of the time they would) you are getting 8:1 on your money...You can't win this unimproved but when you spike the set...

Uhhhh... 8:1?

It's 3 bets for him to call in the BB and the pot is 5-ways if he calls and everyone else does as well. At best, it's 17:3 on a call which is NOT the same as 5.66:1. Even if he were getting 24:3 on a call, it's still not the same as 8:1 (though if he were getting 24:3 then the game is likely good enough that he can call and play for set value).
