cannot connect to partypoker

since this morning i cannot seem to connect to partypoker using their client.. everything was working fine yesterday and no new software has been installed / uninstalled in ages..

i'm able to successfully ping and traceroute www.partypoker.com, however when i try 88.81.154.62, 88.81.154.50 (the ips that the client tries to connect to) or secure.partyaccount.com (for account details) they seem to fail at the last hop.. i'm able to get to secure.partyaccount.com through vtunnel so i know the site is working, just i cannot connect

as a side note, i'm able to successfully login and play using web-based party but that seems to use a different server (router.partypoker.com)

this morning i was hoping it was just party turning off my doomswitch and activating boomswitch.. but now i'm not so optimistic

also, no sites / domains are blocked in the config of my router etc
