Gigabet and a 75% ROI in the $10+1\'s
This debate seems worthy of a thread of it's own. That other thread is too cluttered for any meaningful discussion.
The more I think about it, the more I think the 75% number is close to the maximum attainable winrate at this level. I think a 75% ROI might be slightly higher than the max, but I wouldn't dismiss it. If a player can finish 1st 20% of the time, 2nd 15% and 3rd 15%, that would be just under a 70% roi. Is cashing 50% of the time at this level reasonable with this distribution of finsihes? I'm not sure, but I think it might be. |

Well now this is funny.
Now possibly the 2 best SnG players in the world think that 75% may be possible at the 11s while the other 98% of us (including me) think it is next to impossible. Prop bet Zee? Any interest in playing many $11s for a significant $$$ prop bet? |

I will wager my entire bankroll you can't do 75% over 500 or 1000 SNGs.
I take that back, but I would definitely put a wager up if you did a "challenge." |

Moved to this thread ...
75% is clearly possible. Look, I did it over 15 sngs, which is almost *2 full hours* of play!!!!111!won!! There are two keys to acheiving this long term ... 1) Don't play Limit ... that brings your ROI below 100% 2) Always re-raise the turn. It's a very easy game. |

It's not possible, they are too far removed from the world of the $11s to understand. I honestly believe that 50% ROI is completely impossible as well, but at least its worth discussing. |

Re: Gigabet and a 75% ROI in the $10+1\'s
while i dont want to turn this into a prop bet thread, i think the problem is he wouldnt feel comfortable taking the prop bet until he had played a bunch and had developed a strategy that he honestly thought was working for 75%. which will likely not happen (im not saying impossible, just saying not likely).
i cant imagine either zee or giga taking a prop bet for a lot of money just on the "belief" that its possible. |

Prop bet Zee? Any interest in playing many $11s for a significant $$$ prop bet? [/ QUOTE ] too easy to organize a huge bet, then get a bunch of decent players to join zj or giga games and effectively turn them into $33-$215s. even if they hid their SN, finding someone trying to attain 75% at the $11s would be quite easy I believe. |

Prop bet Zee? Any interest in playing many $11s for a significant $$$ prop bet? [/ QUOTE ] There are several problems with this idea. One, I said that 75% is probably slightly more than what is attainable. Let's say we determined 65% was a better number. So then let's say we made the prop bet. If I played perfectly, it would be a break even proposition for me, ignoring time spent. I certainly would be playing far from perfectly. We'd have to go way below 75% for a prop bet to make any sense. |

Re: Gigabet and a 75% ROI in the $10+1\'s
Also lets please note that a 20/15/15 ITM ratio is 59% ROI which is not really "just under a 70% ROI", unless you think an 11% difference is not very relevant. |
