Default NL50 - to call a huge river-overbet with str8.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($50.70)
MP ($58.95)
CO ($47.35)
Button ($53.40)
SB ($48.05) <font color="blue"> 16/0/1 ~90 hands </font>
Hero ($83.50)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($1.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1</font>, UTG calls $1, SB folds.

Turn: ($3.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, UTG checks.

River: ($3.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $3</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $14.25</font>, Hero calls $11.25.

Final Pot: $32

I [censored] up on the turn, trying to check raise an ultra passive player!?!
Now what am I beating on the river, given he never bluffs here? It's a fold right?

With stats like that I'm leaning towards a fold in this situation. Its possible hes on a full house. In retrospect you should have bet on the turn (as I'm sure you now know). It would have given you a little more info on where you were at in the hand.

With no reads on the player I'm calling here.

Uhm, what is UTG's stats? SB folded on the flop, his stats are irrelevant.

I was assuming that the stats posted were for UTG and it was a typo.
