I'm pretty sure 'pokerlife654' on stars/ 'magiowins' on full tilt is a scammer. He pasted in an instant message a supposed email from full tilt saying that his transfer to me was pending after I transferred $135 to him on stars (with the intent of doing another $135 if the first one was successfull). I emailed full tilt confirming if his pasted information was legit and they said it was not. His AIM username is pokerislife689 and his claimed 2p2 username is frommagio.

The info he pasted in AIM after I sent him money on stars:

Looking to transfer $270 from Stars to FT. PM me (or AIM: *******) if you've been registered here for at least 6 months to 1 year or if you have more than 1 reference.

[/ QUOTE ]

Don't post your AIM. Initial contact should be by 2+2 PM then exchange your AIM names through 2+2 PM. Otherwise you'll get scammers impersonating 2+2ers AIMing you.

WTF? I thought you read my post already and got my warning. See link:

I posted the warning like a few minutes after your transfer request post with your AIM name. Didn't you read it?

I would assume that now he has moved into the realm of forging details of FTP e-mails for criminal purposes then his name at FTP is not magiowins.

FTP won't like this one little bit, and when they ask Stars for the rl details of pokerlife654 he'll be toast, in more ways than one.

Ya and then pokerlife can sue Pokerstars for giving out personal information. Would be pretty stupid for stars to get involved. Regardless we don't know whether the person is even telling the truth.

Where do you think you would sue Pokerstars and under what law?
