Default i, i just don\'t get it. nl cash 3/6 strange turn

villain has been potting the flop out of position a ton. he's stacked me once when my two pair was up against his straight.

he shoved all in one other time. i didn't call. it was an ugly board and looked like a turned two pair, that didn't want to get to the riv with stack sizes.

stack sizes are about 900 each.

i raise otb with AA to 18. he calls.

flop (36)
733 (two spades)
he checks. i bet 26. he calls.

turn (108)
4 (no spade)
he shoves. wtf?

What kind of hands are you raising with PF? If he can be confident that you don't raise PF with hands like A3 or 65, then folding AA here is easily exploited. (You're only calling with 77, 44, or quads.)

Seems so unlikely that he would shove a boat here so I feel like the only thing you have to worry about is A3 maybe 53 I would call.

without some other glaring read that youre leaving out, i call this. he's got 88, 99, 1010, jj a ton here.

I would call here. If he has you beat at this point he played his hand like sh*t

results: i folded. the thing that was confusing to me was that the board didn't change much when he pushed. he should be raising the flop if he wants to protect a hand like 88-tt.

in retrospect, i prob shouldve called. the more i look at it, the more it looks like move for a spade combo draw.
