Tell us more about your exact problem?

Inadequate roll?
Chasing losses?
Won't quit when stuck?
etc

Under rolled. I had a 16000k roll and then taxes caught me by suprise, and the roll disapeared down to a couple hundred and im having a hard time with the low stakes. I've never been able to beat a NL Holdem game that was lower then 3-6.

This occured in the summer and ever since then I haven't been able to manange my money back up to a descent roll, because I take shots to early and with variance can't beat the odds.

I can really remember the difference between playing .5/1 limit at the different sites. My win rate for party was 3.5, and lost at two.

I dont know how you can beat a good game, but not a poor one. I know how in a loose game some hands go up ie ace rag, and hopefully sooner or later someone gets a k high flush.

Also, have you read the section in the new book about loose games?

The idea that you can beat good games and not easy, loose passive ones seems to be a very fishy statement, somewhere along the lines of 'aa NEVER holds up'

The most important thing is finding a game and limit that you can beat. Keep track of your results and figure out your hourly rate. If you can't beat the game it doesn't matter how big your roll is you will eventually go broke.

Could you tell us about what

Limits you played at
No of hands
win rate
variance

You can plug these numbers in with a risk of ruin to your roll, and find out what you can cope with, and what level would be financial suicide

thatīs like $16.000.000 right? You pay too much taxes if they only leave you with a few hundred dollars.

idk how u only have a few hundred after that. Doyle says he plays better against good players than he does against donkeys. A great player needs to adapt tho so keep track of ur games with pokertracker and review your stats to see where you are losing your money and correct it. gl.
