Re: Good poker monitor
if you're going to multi-table, its probably in your best interest to get at least a 24" monitor, or two 20" monitors dual linked. It just all depends on how much you are willing to spend.

Re: Good poker monitor
not sure on the 24" monitors, but it isn't the size that matters rather the resolution, 1600X1200 is needed for 4 full sized tables. Lots of good dell, samsung monitors in the 20" range are 1600X1200 and pretty cheap.

Re: Good poker monitor
the size matters some also doesnt it?? you are going to have more space on a 1900x1200 24" than a 1900x1200 17" arent you or are the tables just going to be larger on the 24"?

Re: Good poker monitor
short answer:
-get 20" or 24" monitors that are 1600x1200 or 1920x1200. -if you want to play a heap of tables, your cheapest option that will give you the best result will be a series of 20" monitors (1 = 4 tables, 2 = 8 tables, 3 = 12 tables etc.). some other options: -get a 30" monitor (2560 x 1600), turn it to portrait (you'll need a special stand or something) and play 8 tables without resizing. -get a series of 20" monitors (1600 x 1200) and downgrade the resolution on each one to 800x600, and play one table per monitor. |
