he often made this minraise, so i think it's possible that he's air. he made stupid calls before with things like Q3 after my raises, so i think, he can have a weaker jack or maybe middle or bottom pair. do you think i should wait for a better hand to make a move like this?

You turned your hand into a bluff. You are overrepresenting your hand so if you get called you are probably behind. I don't like it at all.

I agree. You played the hand a bit too strongly. I would have been tempted to fold the turn, I don't like the minraise on a board that drawy. As played, check/fold river.

JTs is a fair hand to play...but only for the straight and flush possibilities. If you raise, like you did, I want to be sure that I'm taking the blinds uncontested with a hand like this most of the time. If I don't I want to see a co-ordinated board (flush, straight draw, combo) that I can play positively.

This is not a hand i'd be playing with any strength when it hits TP-midKicker unless the guy commonly folds to a c-bet.

Basically, you took it too far. Sure, i'll bet the flop, but i'm gone versus serious resistance. Further into the hand, the flop call says "i have a weak Jack". Nothing else springs to mind, your guaranteeing yourself some further action if this guy is at all aggressive!

Just call preflop and stack somebody when that draw comes home, otherwise leave it i reckon.
