Hello Everyone!
The purpose of this discussion is to help us gain a deeper understanding for the context of the book: No Limit Holdem Theory and Practice by David Sklansky and Ed Miller The Agenda 5/14 - Introduction 5/21 - Discussion of pgs. 1-32 5/28 - pgs. 32-57 6/4 - pgs. 58-81 6/11 - pgs. 82-110 6/18 - pgs. 111-134 6/25 - pgs. 135-162 7/2 - pgs. 163-190 7/9 - pgs. 191-213 7/16 - pgs. 214-240 I do not know if we should include Part II in the discussion or if we should just read it on our own. 1. Strength - putting opponents on hand ranges.
2. Weakness - The math aspect of the game. 3. Goal - To gain a betting understanding of when, why, and how much to bet. |

1) Strength: the ability to think analytically
2) Weakness: not being able to use that strength at the table and tilting very hard 3) Goal: improve my understanding of what line I should take and why |

1. Strength - picking a good general strategy for a particular table or player and sticking to it.
2. Weakness - Reading hands, estimating implied odds. 3. Goal - Gain a deeper understanding of NLHTAP by discussing it. |

2. Weakness - Hand reading. 3. Goal - Profit. |

1. Strength - Hand reading, knowing when I am beat.
2. Weakness - Playing against super aggro players and some math aspects of the game. 3. Goal - Become a better player and move up from 5NL soon. |

1. Strength - Patient, takes good notes, uses position well.
2. Weakness - Not aggressive enough post-flop. 3. Goal - Improve hand reading skills which should lead to more aggressive lines post-flop. |
