Juts wanted to kiss some ass and say that it's great that you people take the time&effort to reply even though "my roll = your cbet" in most cases

So here's a potentially tabboo question for cash games.

Anyone here have any background/experience in shortstacking? I've been dabbling with it a bit this week and there seems to be at least some potential for the strategy and I'd be curious to get some feedback.

If you do it, don't rathole. If it's not ethical live, it's not ethical online.

If you are playing cash these days, you'd know why. The tables are starting to get over run with short stackers. It sucks. One of the main reasons people choose to play cash because they want to play at least 100bbs deep. If half of the table is sitting with like 20-40 bbs, it takes a lot away from cash (not to mention your edge).

Right now there are a lot of players buying in for $80 at party $400NL. They are bad at short stacking, but still irriating. They limp occasionally and fold to re-raise. Other than that, they open shove 20BBs any time they play a hand. Pretty funny really.
