OOT, What is your life situation?

-Been working in the family busines for 20 years (I design and sell the stuff you hate throwing away after you buy the item, the packaging.)
-Play 5-150 once, twice a month at local casino (CAZ)
-Divorced w/ an awesome 5 yr old girl and 3 yr old boy. Been seeing the same girlfriend for close to 10 months now.
-Not happy at all. Make good money but there is waaay more to life than money. I'd rather be working at a job I enjoyed and earned half the dough i do now.

-birthday 2 days ago..so now 37. Went out in Hollywood w/Suzzer- wore a short ass mini-skirt and tons of younger men still likey likey..so no complaints there. I just like knowing many men still find me very attractive. As a woman, getting older, you don't wanna lose your looks.

-self-employed accountant/biz mgr..but want to got to law school when i can..just for the education- not to work as a lawyer but well aware that may end up happening.

-I have been a single mom for nearly 15 years/never married, and my dot rocks! I have met a man that is very insync with me..and i'm excited to see how this goes, so no complaints there either.

-Yes i am very happy even tho i have a lot of weird sh!t hit me.
The past few days have been scary with all of southern CA on fire..i went thru 2 fires at Pepperdine University in Malibu when i was there- and i was devestated to think of my alma matar burning down..TG it did not. We live at the beach so we weren't really in fire danger- except getting trapped in the city and the smoke inhalation is really tough..f-ing 90's at the beach and can't keep windows shut. But I still wouldn't want to live anywheres else.

Yes, very. I'm a brand spanking new attorney, work for a great firm where I am making a good amount of money (not great, but more than enough to be paying back loans, saving a little, and living comfortably), and have a wife who doesn't want kids (at least not for a long time)!

I absolutely do not want to do anything with business. I do not want a 9-5 job.
I want to play poker for a living, and with my free time help people better their lives in their own eyes
I am about a 8/10 on the happiness scale. I'm in a foreign country and it is amazing here... no complaints at all

When I return in December... it will drop to about 6/10

Could somebody please pull all this info into a graph or do a regression analysis correlating happiness w/relationship (single, in a relationship, married) and occupation (poker/just a job/career).

Well, I would say I am happier than I was a couple of hours ago, since I just took down an SNG, and I'm happier than I was a few weeks ago, because my grades are gradually drifting up. Scholastically I am making excellent progress.

On the other hand, socially? Not so much. No one here gets laid unless they are in a frat. All of my high school friends scattered and I've made rather few here. I am trying to get out more; I've made a little progress with that over the last couple of weeks (joined an analysis study group).

I would say I go from everything between 1 and 8 out of 10, with the average around a 4 or a 5.
