How is that assinine? I am not forcing anyone to take the bet, if they think republicans have a shot, put up the money, if not, don't.

A million things can happen between now and the election.

If the Dems do elect Hillary or Obama for their candidate I will give you whatever odds you want the Dems won't win, and you know there is a good chance they might.

I will gladly give you odds once the democratic candidate is selected, but until that is known, considering the Dems possibility of selecting one of those two, I think it is pretty even.

Yes.

The repubs have pissed enough people off, even their own, that if the two candidates are even somewhat vanilla (middle of the road bland), the Dems will easily win.

But if the Dems elect a woman, or a minority with the name Obama as their candiate, they will still lose.

And no, I am not a chauvinist or racist, but too much of the country still is.

100% agreed. I did not mean that it was the main reason why they will lose, but combined with the rest of the issues, the female/race issue will be enough to result in a loss.
