I'd bet you on this. You wouldn't give me like 5-4 though?

Sorry, even odds only.

The thing that bothers me is that I've been saying Mitt Romney will be our next President since 2005, and I've been saying it all the time. would have got some great odds on that when he first announced his candidacy 8-9 months ago, too bad I didn't make any bets

You don't believe me that I've been saying that, or you don't believe that he will? I'm glad people are still giving that reaction, because maybe I can still get some good odds.

Would you give me 10-1 on Romney winning the general election?

edit: anyone who is interested in taking my action on Romney to either win the GOP nod or the general election, pm me. I'd prefer if you have a lot of posts or I know you, obviously.

We could escrow the money, and put it in a high interest account for a year (if we're doing general election).

How is that assinine? I am not forcing anyone to take the bet, if they think republicans have a shot, put up the money, if not, don't.

A million things can happen between now and the election.

If the Dems do elect Hillary or Obama for their candidate I will give you whatever odds you want the Dems won't win, and you know there is a good chance they might.

I will gladly give you odds once the democratic candidate is selected, but until that is known, considering the Dems possibility of selecting one of those two, I think it is pretty even.
