Default 22 set - Flop fold thoughts

UTG is solidish but calls too much 22/10 and too loose postflop but not very aggressive. Other guy is 30/15 and has 370 left on flop. Myself and the solid player have 1000 left on the flop.

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $2/$5
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG raises to $20, Hero calls, CO raises to $65, 3 folds, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($202, 3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, CO bets $145, UTG raises to $300, Hero folds

Pretty sure I've never folded a set on anything but a monotone flop in a 10 way pot, so this seems pretty bad to me.

As long as he never flatcalls AA/KK with you left to act PF, I think you'll see 33/99 here ALOT. Ugh....dirty, he practically c/minraised. Tough Spot.

Surely this is an overpair as often is a set. Id push and not feel awesome about it but I think folding here is -EV in the long run.

Feels like he's just trying to tap the UTG reraisers money in on the cheap without exposing his stack - I'd expect to see an overpair, flush draw or even A9 here - worrying about only 33/99 seems v nitty?

I'd shove, fwiw.

not sure what minraises mean at these stakes.

Lower it seems to be "Got a big hand, please stay in the pot & call" other times its a weak 2pair or TPTK trying to get value without risking to much cash.

Id say your ahead 50% here, folding isnt horrible but i'd say going all in is +EV longterm tbh.

So many overpairs/draws just wonder if they'd be so aggro w/Overpair :\

ARRR IN.

As stated above, you are ahead enough here to make it +EV to push.

why did u check the flop? was it to trap more people?

do u think if u push that your hand is face up or do u think that it could look like A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] X[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]?

I don't understand your logic here. If you aren't happy to get it in on this flop why did you call the raise and reraise preflop?

I don't know if I agree with getting it in or not but surely folding here makes the preflop play incorrect?
