The effect of no booze at Turning Stone
I was wondering what you guys think the effect of the Turning Stone not having a liquor license is? My guess is that the tables would be more tight passive...?

I think all the 18 year olds more than make up for the fact that no one there is drunk.

If so, you haven't been playing there long enough. I've seen many people drunk, slurring, acting a fool, donking/lagtarding around big time while sipping on straight vodka. It's great. I remember a guy's good time hanging by a thread many times because he was so wasted they were going to kick him out. Not serving just allows them to bring in the 18+ y/o kids to donk off their money. Some do well, but their are some great stations there. |

Is it still BYOB? [/ QUOTE ] It was not a month ago. They were trying once again to get a liquor license and had sign all over saying you were not allowed any alcohol in any area of the casino, including rooms. We smuggled bottles of liquor upstairs to our room and mixed drinks, but the poker room was a really sober place. |
