Default Do you ever stop here?

I eventually did, but just curious, how far do you go on this turn?

Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5.25BB, 2 players)
Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 re-raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero re-raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 re-raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero re-raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 re-raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero re-raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 re-raises</font>, Hero calls.

I have the best hand here, but I've never been in this situation before, as I rarely play on crypto. I froze up a little, I guess, but is there any way you don't raise as long as possible here?

i would basically never be sitting at a table with more money than i'd be willing to put in as the huge favorite.

there's one card to come and you have the nuts and an opponent who capped preflop so he probably has 1 out with JJ. if he has A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] you are still making a killing on any bets you put in.

so no, i dont know why you would stop. did you eventually make yourself believe that you didnt have the nuts?

how much money did you have left at the table?

what i really wonder is how you thought people would respond to this post. did you think anyone would say, "yes after he 40-bets me, i begin to think that the nuts isnt the nuts."?????? i am mad now.

I tend to check/call the nuts the whole way for metagame purposes.

yeah, I pretty much knew when I hit the post button that this was stupid. I apologize for wasting everyone's time. Not being sarcastic, just really realize now how stupid it was. I had never been in a situation with uncapped betting heads up, and choked.

"choked"? lol, Don't worry I honestly wasn't even trying to be a dick, I thought it was a joke post. I didn't realize crypto had no cap. What a [censored] whackjob UTG+1 is.

No, No, No, I didn't think you were. Choked is probably a bad word, but I don't know how else to describe having a chance to potentially stack someone, and not doing it. He showed no signs of slowing down, and I had the best hand.

And yes, I tend to be weak tight sometimes, and it sucks, but I'm working at it.

Totally understandable. Don't worry about it too much. You learn by screwing up.

im playing at the cryptos, too.
and the first time when i was in the same situation (T52r-flop) with TT, i stopped after around 8 bets. i dont know why, i never were in this situation before. now i know i must hit the raise button until one of us is out of chips... and im looking for going to the table properly rolled, too. sometimes you will find the donk and he really pays off.
