Video & Audio out of Sync using Nero 7 premium

Recently I've had a lot of trouble with the audio being out of sync with the video when using nero 7 premium (Nero Vision 4). This only takes place on the DVD itself. I have all of my videos in mpeg2 format, and they all work flawlessly when played with any media player. I've looked a lot online and nothing seems to solve my problems. I was told to revert back to an earlier version of Nero, but I can't seem to find a version that has all the updated components I need with working serials (Let me know if you recommend a reliable version of Nero). I've tried uninstalling certain codecs and installing others that I was told would help fix the problem, but it doesn't seem to be helping....and I worried that this might be contributing to the problem. I'm sure somebody else has had this problem. Is there other software I could use? I have ConvertXtoDVD, but it's such a slooooooow process.

Any advice you could give me would be appreciated.
