Default 50NL - Typical AA Hand on Drawy Board

After getting torched at 50NL in June and July, I dropped back down to 25NL to rebuild. Decided now was the time to add a 50NL table or two back into my rotation. This is literally the first 50NL hand I've played since this summer, and of course this happens...

Since this is my first hand at the table, I have no reads.

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 8 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

UTG: $27.70
UTG+1: $27.25
MP1: $38.10
MP2: $24
CO: $28.75
BTN: $34.20
SB: $49.50
Hero (BB): $50

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.50, MP1 calls $0.50, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.50, SB folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.50</font>, UTG+1 calls $2, MP1 calls $2, BTN folds

Flop: ($8.25) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $5.50</font>, UTG+1 calls $5.50, <font color="red">MP1 raises to $35.60 and is All-In</font>, Hero???

(I did notice that my preflop raise was a little small. I think the 2x blind size then I am used to threw me off...)

Call or fold?

fold. You're slightly ahead or way behind and in these situations you should be more passive and be more willing to fold. People aren't going off w/99 here.

quick fold....as Chargers said, slightly ahead or way behind (folding also reduces variance given ur playing higher than usual)

Raising more preflop changes the entire dynamic of this hand. I raise this to at least $4.50 preflop. If these guys call, with prospective hands, they're making massive errors and on the flop, you can commit much more easily given their stack sizes.

Raise to $3.50 preflop. It's a lot closer than the guys above are letting on, but yeah, probably fold.

The SPR for this hand is under a 5 and you have an overpair. I agree with Cheese that this is closer than you might think. He would play a flush or straight draw the same way. Had you raised to the proper amount PF, i think it makes calling even easier.

I call.
