Default KK on Ace high single suited flop what to do?

Villain is 70/22/1 over a very few hands....

I could have re-raised more in retrospect..

I would just let it go here, villain could easily be doing this with any spade, but your hand is very weak compared to this board. I would pick a better spot to go after him.

Snap fold, I just dont see any hands that you are ahead of here, or ahead of enough to be this optimistic.

Only thing we beat here is QQ/JJ. If he's capable of bluffraising here I'd give him a compliment. But I'd definitely fold, since it looks to me like he the ace-happy type of guy. Your hand is magnificent preflop, after the flop it is just a second pair hand on a flush board. Make sure you value your hand in comparison with the current postflop conditions, not the value it had preflop.

(I think this is very, very difficult for a lot of beginners. At least it is for me. I am much better in accepting that my hand improved a lot by the flop in cases where I flop a straight after being given a free look at the flop from the big blind, than I am in accepting my hand turned close to worthless after the flop in case I hold AK,KK,QQ and similar hands. I think adapting well to the current value of your hand can have a dramatic influence on your winrate.)

But do make a note please and watch if this guy gets tricky a lot on drawy boards!

thx all,

I'll remember him, he ignored my english chat, but replied when I switched to italian.

I folded BTW, and he agreed that he had an ace for what it's worth.....

Always annoying when good hands turn to crapola, but gotta let em go. another one will come around soon....
