Queen, Under Pressure - Freddie's voice was so amazing, even moreso live.


Toots & The Maytals - Pressure Drop - For some reason Jack Johnson and Ben Harper were on stage. Ben is a giant on his own and you would think the weird guitar solo would be out of place, but it wasn't. Toots made it work because he's just a great performer.

LOL! I never understood the pairing of Flav and Chuck D. Chuck was one of the most serious rappers out there. The S1Ws are just standing there in the back looking intimidating. Then you have Flav acting like a clown. I understand the point of having some comic relief, but he was going WAY overboard there.

Nice [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I'm a huge Toots fan, I've seen him 5 times live. If people ever get a chance to see him live, he is way better than the times I've seen him on tv. He feeds off the dancing reggae crowds...he's the James Brown of reggae.

He's an amazing live performer. He's better live than in the studio. I've seen him three times now and walk away so impressed every time.

Beck was cool, George/Paul is amazing. Radiohead was really cool, and the Elvis Costello thing is pretty awesome.

Frank Zappa was really good too.

bumping to add the link to U2's I Will Follow which was done during the closing credits and features Bono kind of roaming around a bit on his own and practically trying to take control of a camera at one point.
Someone briefly mentioned U2 earlier in the thread but then I think we kind of forgot about that one (unless I missed it).

Members of crowd and cast were clearly pretty blown-away by it which we would never get to see if Bono didn't stroll all over the place which practically never happens.
