Default $10NL - 99 OOP on K-high flop, what\'s next?

I just came across this hand a few moments ago. I got dealt 99 and raise them from MP3 and get called by the CO.

No reads on CO, he sat down with about his current stack and has been on the table for 10 hands or so.

I haven't really played a hand in this session.. only took the blinds a few times with a PFR.

What is the right play in this hand?

Flop: you are oop against a shorty who cold-called you raise pf. Your c-bet is fine.
Turn: having been called on the flop, I now shut down and c/f scary turn cards, which this is.

I agree, after him calling your c-bet you can c/f the turn considering 3 to a flush and a K is down.

Yeah, even with nothing behind this isn't a hand I am willing to take much further. I check the turn and fold to a real bet unless shorty has show a strong propensity to bluff here.

Leading the turn is bad because very little is calling you that you beat. You might be letting him draw for free but I let this one go.

Agree w/ others. C-Bet's good. c/f turn - if you weren't beat before you almost def are now.
