man, stupid Halo 3 kept me up so damn late last night I missed Arsenal and my Hawks today :P

[/ QUOTE ]

Looks like the Hawks missed their wakeup call as well.

Anyway, in the Tottenham/Liverpool game, why was Tottenham forced to play 10 men in injury time? The announcers were stating "what a stupid rule" etc., but I didn't catch the ruling.

Anyone?

[/ QUOTE ]

Basically the ruling is :

If you get treatment on the field for an "injury" then you have to leave the field of play and can only re-enter when signalled by the referee once play has resumed...

Basically, we were robbed by a incompetent lino and a piss-poor ref who couldn't see that Reina made a mistake when he came charging out of his box and that coupled with Chimbonda's inability to jump in the 90+th minute cost us 2 points...

But I do believe we have turned a corner !

One deserved loss (to the 02 Brazil squad), and two coin flips (the PK losses) - and for this he's a crappy manager?

[/ QUOTE ]

Dunno if I'm picking you up correctly, but penalties are *not* a coinflip. If they were then the Germans might lose one from time to time and England would win a couple.

Didnt fancy starting a new thread about this so thought i`d ask in here.

Hows the smoking ban going at your ground?

At man city nobody can smoke inside of the complex.

So from when you go through the car-park gates its illegal to smoke.
Nobodies allowed out at half time and there are no smoking areas anywhere in the entire ground.

Until last week there were just stewards on there own hunting smokers down and trying to eject them, which simply didnt work.
last week against `boro i saw the stewards were accompanied by 2 coppers.

Its getting on top a bit.

People still smoke till the coppers turn up and there seem to be occasional sweeps through the bogs during the game.

- non of this is good

As a famous city fan once said: "i like a drink and a smoke..."

and it upsets me a great deal that once again, the club i love seem to have gone out of their way to make life difficult for the supporters.

I seriously thought about jacking when i heard about the ban. Especially after last seasons crap, but i simply couldnt. Now we`re playing so well i cant even consider not going

I`ve not been away yet this season but we`ve got a few away games coming up that i will probably attend so i just wondered, How`s everyone else enjoying the smoking ban?

Up the Blues

I am a first year American premiership watcher. Tottenham looked impressive against Liverpool. That Robbie Keane has skills. Seemed like every touch he had was dangerous. That match was a lot more fun to watch then the 0-0 draws Liverpool had been having lately.

I was dissapointed at Mourinho leaving Chelsea since he's so perfect as the "love to hate him" character in the league. Hope he lands somewhere else in the Premier League.
