AKs UTG .25 .50 Everest
I am having some trouble with hand I flop nada. This seems alright?
Hero is UTG and looks at A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and raises. UTG+1 coldcalls (like he did for about 5 times in a half hour session). MP1 coldcalls (only see her do it once, then had AQs). Button calls and the rest had folded. Flop: (9.5sb) 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets, UTG+1 raises MP1 coldcalls, hero calls. Turn: (7.5bb) T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 raises Button folds Hero folds. |

Re: AKs UTG .25 .50 Everest
Seems fine. The flop cbet is standard for me against only two opponents on that board.
By the turn, your K outs are iffy, your A outs are likely reverse dominated, and you're only getting about 5:1 so easy lay-down. |

Also, not closing the action makes this an easy fold.

Re: AKs UTG .25 .50 Everest
i think depending on MP1 and BTN you can make a case for fold the flop ... someone has a set here a lot - that plus you may have very few outs
your A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] are most likely worth nothing your Ace outs may be reverse dominated your King outs may be reverse dominated if someone has a set and you hit can you fold top pair? (and if UTG1 is aggro post flop you may get into a really bad situation ... depending on your play style) other than that I think the hand is pretty standard |

Re: AKs UTG .25 .50 Everest
note if mp1 called the turn bet, you should call.

[ QUOTE ]
note if mp1 called the turn bet, you should call [/ QUOTE ] because the pot is big enough (1:10)? because he is less likely to have a hand better than a pair? or both? |
