WHERE IS MICAH OWINGS WE NEED TO COUNTER ZAMBRANO

btw the Z deal was good imo

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm doing this thing where during the playoffs I openly embrace my inner results-oriented, who-cares-about-sample-size self and just go with the flow.

So yeah, Soriano sucks.

Also, yeah you need Owings in there because baseball is all about matchups.

Lou,

You have obviously never been to Phoenix before. It's overrun by Cubs and Bears fans. Local TV ratings for 2003 NLCS > 2001 Yankees-D'Backs World Series. True story and very annoying. Die Cubs and Bears homers who moved here.

Mine isn't. I hope global warming hits Phoenix first, before anywhere else in the US of A.

Cubs fans are idiots for supporting the smallest and dumbest front office in baseball. As Mikey said, they bring it on themselves.

[/ QUOTE ]

This might be the worst/dumbest argument I've seen made for any point, ever.

[/ QUOTE ]

Its really not. Blind homerism and loyalty is just BEGGING to be exploited. Where is the motivation to provide a quality product when the droolers are going to be eating it by the barrel no matter what it tastes like?

[/ QUOTE ]
what an awesome arguement for fair-weather fandom.
