5/10 QJs live, folding TP in giant pot on flop
The game is just loosening up, because some new people arrived (bb raiser and grandpa) arrived. avg 6 people to the flop, sometimes a raise.
I am UTG +1 with QJ [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I decide to limp, person next to me raises (he knows the game, but he is waiting for an NL seat and he likes playing hands too much), grandpa calls, someone(just arrived) threebets. The blinds call, I call and the original raiser and grandpa call. Flop (18sb, 6 players). QT8 two [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I check, original raiser bets, grandpa calls, threebetter raises, SB threebets, BB folds, Hero folds? |

Looks fine to me. You have a lot of potential outs but given the board and action I don't trust any of them except the non-heart 9's.

If it gets capped, you would be paying 34-4 to see the turn, in a pot likely to get much larger. If it doesn't, it is going to be 30-3. Either way, I am willing to peel, and hope for a 9, or secondarily an Ace, King, or Queen.

I really like to get some more responses here. I am not trusting any of my outs, because KJ or JA could still be in here, making a split draw (for which I don't get odds)
As an aside I threw this away, hitting the dealers hand and mucking my cards open. People where flabbergasted. |

Re: 5/10 QJs live, folding TP in giant pot on flop
I like your fold. Even if you think your getting implied odds to hit a non-heart 9, you won't get much action on it except from a person that's likely got you tied. It's limit and you won't be able to bet enough to get the redraws out, so expect a heart or a paired board to kill you on the river often enough to make calling unprofitable.
