Final pot: $20.4

Villian was complete unkown, hadn't been at the table long. Villians donk bet on turn confused me. It looked like it could be J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] which picked up outs on the turn and wanted to draw cheaply, but I wasn't sure enough to raise. I don't see KQ/44 taking this line often and I think a floated 33 would prob c/r. When he makes a value looking bet on river I feel beat, but I can't put him on a hand. Ideas? Does anyone play this differently?

Bet pot on the flop and raise turn but as played I instsa call river getting 4-1 on my money as usualy you are ahead of most of his range. Looks alot like AQ of diamonds to me.

I would raise to $8 on the turn because of the out ha might have picked up. The only hands that beat you are KQ, 44, 33. Plus, you keep control over the betting and can likely check behind on the river.

As played, call the river bet. Either it's a blocking bet or a "please raise me" bet. And make a note what his turn donk and small river bets mean.

Yeah I think I'm bad at not raising potential blocking bets. But I dont know how aggro this player is and wether he'd raise me allin with a strong draw on the turn.

I play it the way Maunzekater does and if he 3bets the turn I probably fold. I also don't feel like were always beat on the river. Ive seen people show up with kj and kt here plus the good odds means I instacall on the river.
