I agree that Farha seems shady.. I can't work out how he can afford to play in all these games - he's really not in the same class as Harman / Negreanu / Greenstein etc...

Well, on his last trip he won 7 million according to Harman and Elezra.

The reason they don't do it "3 times" instead of twice, my guess would be, is because with 3 times there is usually a winner. Twice, its more likely to be chopped. As Sammy said in the first season, "I like to gamble, but I also like to get my money back." <paraphrased.

Yeah, the sole reason for running it twice is to get the chance of getting half the pot even if you're a pretty big underdog. Not that it matters in the long run, but oh well.
