And just for the record. Esfandiari is Iranian not persian,
Persia was long gone before he was born. Oh yeah, there aren't anymore Aztecs either.

[/ QUOTE ]

lol

The word "Persian" usually refers to the ethnic group, guess you were absent that day

I think ''Arabic'' will have the same effect.

Not all Arabs are Persian, same way not all Caucasians are English.

This is the 2nd time I`ve seen the Arabic-Persian confusion on this forum and about Antonio. For further reference...Iran=Persian. Turkey=Turks. Israel=Hebrews. Besides a few minorities in each country rest of middle-east=Arab.

And I like Antonio`s other lines so he works for me.

Sorry dude but there are millions of PERSIANS who would disagree with you.

He is an Iranian Persian, but if you actually knew anyone who was Persian you would know that they consider themselves a seperate group.

As for Antonio... I like him for the most part. His poker doesn't suck.. he provides some conversation at a table. There are some guys who don't talk or interact much who are fine to watch when you have 6 or 9 people at a table but who suck the life out of the television when they are playing 3-way or heads up. Antonio is not one of those.

My only problem with him is he hangs around Phil Laak too much, and I can now often here Phil's voice coming out of Antonio's mouth and it drives me nuts.

His picked up some of Laak's speech patterns and it drives me nuts.
