Default NL200 AK oop

Villian is 25/21/4 (300) - hes in quite a few games and appears to be a standard TAG, not sure whether hes anything special.

Situation like this comes up alot - whats the best line to take??

-Call and re-evaluate after flop.
-4bet him. What size 4 bet is good??
-Fold pffff

I like this. I lean heavily towards the call but I always see 2+2ers say push here which I never have really understood.

If he is overaggro, I'm definitely 4 betting.

If he is spewy and the type that always thinks people are making moves on him, I call.

If it's a good aggressive opponent and I haven't gotten out of line at all and we don't really have any history, I recommend....wait for it....preflop fold.

I guarantee a lot of better players would be shocked by this, but by 4 betting or pushing I'm basically committing my stack and letting him make the decision without investing much money. His calling range has us in pretty bad shape, and his reraise range is likely fairly tight so the calling range that has us destroyed makes up a solid percentage.

Maybe if someone could link that site that calculates your expectation after you have inputed your hand, his 3bet range, and his calling range, that would help immensely in the analysis of this hand.

I think 4 bet pushing here is gross. Come on UTG+1 vs. UTG how crazy do you think his range is?
