can I ask what you think villains range is when he calls your flop bet? I dont play anywhere near this high, but am just curious.

jj, 89s, 77, 88, 99, 66 even, this is a very good board to peel so i think his range is pretty wide. these are the kinds of boards i like to 2 barrel anyways just because i think i get looked up light a lot on these flops, but full ring players generally give up on the turn.

i think his PPs go down to 22. i also think u create some FE against 88-JJ.

Something to think about:


Villain only has $44 left after our turn bet here, so we *are* committing with this bet, right?

I agree that a lot of players give up on the turn, but if he's thinking at all he's going to figure the 2 didn't do anything immediately for your hand. I don't think he's going to dump any of those medium pocket pairs (maybe the small ones, maybe)

But I like the line, definitely.

yeah fine. Also note that you are committed to betting like every turn once you bet the flop. (i.e. it might have just been better to check flop)
