Starting stack sizes would be nice. Unless he was slow playing pocket fives, I would push, don't worry about the small blind.

the converter is screwed up, my starting stack was 39k villain had 100k.

really would like some help, I ended up calling and my friend is reaming me saying the only hand that plays it like that is a boat, which he did end up having 78. So is this still a call, does the Qs Js 10s ever play it like this?

Call. His bet is not the size of a value-bet with a good spade. His line looks like a bluff (particularly if the SB's stack is similar to yours) or a boat that expects a call from a good spade.
