Ugh. This is ugly but I'd have a hard time folding this one after committing 1/2 your stack. I'd make that flop raise bigger, probably something like $5 or so.

Don't like it too much but I'm playing for stacks here, too. Lots of other two pairs that you beat plus other top pair hands or big draws...

I was pretty sure that this line was good, but I'm starting to wonder about these board with 2-3 cards higher than 9 and wondering how good it is to go to felt with 2pair, when sets and straights are definitely within villain's range, along with a worse 2pairs and drawing hands. Admittedly, I've been getting owned on boards like these, taking top 2, sets, and non-nut straights to felt, or for a big pot. I guess I just need to make sure it's not a leak or anything.

It's definitely something to think about and watch out for but there are so many muppets at NL25 that will pay off on this board with so many worse hands that I think it's better to just value bet your big hands like it's your job and don't sweat the times when you run into the nuts.

There are definitely times to slow down but in this specific hand I just can't see any scenario where you can fold after committing half of your stack against a typical NL25'er. NH.
