Default God and poker

I'm wondering if poker players out there believe in God. I mean, can you believe in God and play poker for a living or as a hobby? Does it challenge whatever faith you have? Do you consider it your vice, your sin??? Or, can poker playing be consistent with a faith in God.

Out of respect, I won't call someone silly for believing in God.

But I can't resist the urge to call someone silly for believing that God gives a damn about a poker game.

how would poker not reconcile with a belief in God? I think you're confusing faith with man-made morality and rules of certain religions.

That being said, I'm an atheist.

Phrasing of the poll is a little awkward, leaving me saying "no" I don't believe in God. I feel the phrase "believe in" implies some sort of faith. I don't "believe in" God, I do think a God exists though.

So you think a God exists but not out of faith?

Where in the Bible does it say you can't gamble. I'm serious. I read the whole thing twice and I can only recall that one story where the rich parent gave a bunch of kids money. One invested and lost all of it, and the other's buried/ saved it or something. The father blessed the investor (gambler).

Yes, after reading the whole thing, I am convinced it is a great story. I am agnostic. I don't think anyone should be able to say for certain that god exists or doesn't, and the arguments are retarded.
