If you want to go cheaper you could always try to smuggle some hot Mexican across the border and pay her $20 per week plus room and board.

He should just buy himself a russian bride although I wonder how much they cost.

Get into a car accident with a poor, smoking hot Mexican.
She's got no money to pay, so she'll be sentenced to become your lifetime butler.

This is such an awesome idea for a sitcom, that I'll probably sell it to some Hollywood film studio.

I posted the ad because I thought it was funny not because I was looking for personal assistants here

[/ QUOTE ]

You thought wrong. And after that Nanny from Minnesota just got killed as a result of answering some creeps ad on Craig's List, you are also guilty of bad timing.

sounds pretty awesome.

to everyone else,

i know tons of girls who would love to have a side job like that for 200-500/week. v laid back, free food basically, just run some errands and do some cleaning. it's not like this is a full time job or anything, most college girls who need part time jobs would love something like this.

on a side note, i wish i was baller enough to do something like this.

People, stop hating on the OP! you know you would do the same!

If I were a rich poker player first I would offer free room at my house + $500 a week. Paying no rent + 500 a week is a sweet deal if you ask me.

If OP is not offering a room at his house then he needs to up the ante to $700 to $1000 a week.

I've had personal assistants. The first rule to having one is to NOT have them stay in your home. If you are serious about them doing stuff for you (and not hiring a mommy/caretaker/whore) you treat them like an employee. Sure you can be friends, but if you have them in your inner circle, they become more friend and less employee (read: dead weight). Also, expect them to steal you blind if you do not treat them as a valued employee.

If you are doing this for s&g's and just want to show off how cool you are for having a personal assistant then expect to get nothing in return from them. Which is cool too if you are a "rich poker player," with lots of disposable income.

why is everyone so upset that someone isnt going to be massively overpaying a college student who needs some extra money? This job is better than 100% of jobs i had in college.
