Re: Interesting NL Situation in AC
First of all: "8d5d6s rainbow" ?
Since the 98 player clearly intended to muck, I think 85 should get the pot. The fact that Mr. 98 is not only unable to read hands but also unable to muck correctly, should not help him. This is just my view without any reference to a rule. |

Re: Interesting NL Situation in AC
Yes, nit-battle!
It depends on the interpretation of "inches" (which is more than 1/4 inch). But reading "and the first player mucked but his cards were only inches from his fingers" I assumed there was no doubt if he intended to muck or not. And if he didn't intend to muck then he's definitely slowrolling. |

Re: Interesting NL Situation in AC
it depends where the cards ended up being 'mucked' in the several situations like this ive seen come up live.
example: at lucky chances in colma, cards have to be discarded onto or past the white ring about 16 inches from the edge of the table in order to be considered mucked. if a player throws down his cards in disgust but they dont cross over or touch that line, then the cards are considered live. once they touch or cross that line, they are mucked irrevocably. |
