FWIW, I thought No Limit Holdem Theory and Practice was the worst poker book I had ever read.

But then I came across Professional No Limit Holdem, Volume One.

Gotta love the titles though. I posted a review in the PNLH review thread.

For no limit holdem the Harrington books reign supreme. They really are excellent, and that's saying a lot in view of the huge number of terrible poker books out there.

I ordered the 3 harringtons along with PNL but i stopped reading HOH1 because i thought it was too banal with endless hand examples.

Can you go into some detail about why you think the harrington series is good and why NLHTAP is bad?
