Default 10NL Monster Draw

First off, do you raise the flop? Second, do you call the all-in?

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $14.80
Hero (BB): $9.80
UTG: $10.35
CO: $17.60
BTN: $11.40

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG folds, CO calls $0.10, BTN raises to $0.30, SB calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.20, CO calls $0.20

Flop: ($1.20) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players)
SB bets $1.00, Hero raises to $3.00, CO raises all-in to $17.30, BTN folds, SB calls all-in for $13.50, Hero...?

yes - to get it heads up and in position for free card/showdown.
yes - we have the odds to call approx $7 for $29.4 pot with 9 outs twice

[ QUOTE ]
1st id fold preflop. A6s isnt what i want to be playing OOP.

2nd i dont think you have enough equity vs his range to really call the allin.

the flop reraise could be ok depending on your reads but i dont think its horrible as long as you are able to get away when he shoves on you like here

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't make it a habit of calling A6s or similar out of the blinds but it was only .20 to me and SB had already called, increasing my pot odds.

Second, if I raise here I think I'm committed, so I don't think I can fold to the re-raise all-in, however my main question was should I even be raising at all... Or is my thinking way off here altogether?

I agree with folding PF, you're OOP with a speculative hand and playing draws OOP always sucks.

Raising flop is good, and you've got odds to call the push since SB already called. Against a range of sets, straights, 2 pair, and worse FD's you have 33% equity so the call is good.

PF isnt terrible, but a fold is best.

As played, call all day long and twice on sundays

You have a combo draw. Your equity is 29% if 1 villian has QQ-AA, and other has exactly 66,88,99. I think SB's range has to include a few str8 or FD's as well. If that's the case your equity would skyrocket. Worst case is you have a break even call(plus dead $). Call and feel great about it.

A monster draw would be A7s.. you have a pair and flush draw and there's a bunch of money in the pot. I doubt your A is good, but it's definitely a call on the flop.

I fold preflop all day though. No point getting in sticky spots OOP with a dominated ace. You won't flop a good draw enough times to make this +EV.
