Default step by step KK

Poker Stars, $5/$10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

BB: $205
UTG: $1,603
CO: $210
BTN: $1,015
Hero (SB): $2,010.50

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
UTG folds, CO raises to $30, BTN raises to $100, hero?

CO is ok regular short-stacker, around 17/15. button is decent regular, 21/17. i am roughly 25/20. i haven't been tangling excessively with button.

I like being tricky and just calling here. If CO is tight/ thinking, he has a hand good enough to push, and figures there's a decent chance that BTN, who is also smart/good, will then reraise to iso. Even if CO calls/folds, you've got at least a $250 pot with only $900 left to bet, so you're not giving implied odds to the CO.

Cold-call, so he knows you have AA-QQ, and he can play perfectly post-flop?

My 4-bet range is wider than AA-KK in this particular situation. I mean, if it was UTG and UTG+1, it's just KK+, but not a shorty CO open and BTN 3bet. You can 4-bet to rep AK and hope another AK is stupid/stubborn.

Anyway, I've said this before, but I just don't see the upside to letting them have a flop cheap. You're just asking to lose a big pot to a set/2pair/ace.

How about 4-betting to 210, to make it look like you are targetting the shorty?

Hehe...QFT. People flatcall here with worse hands than they 4-bet...typically. I've seen people flat 66 (but never 4bet) in this spot...so don't always expect QQ-AA.

wtf people CC with 66 here? I like a 4bet too if we have been aggro preflop, which if we're running at 25/20 we most likely have. Idk, I could even see a shove here to rep AK. Maybe im crazy tho
