Default Difference between stars MMT and fulltilt MMTs

I just recently switvched from stars to fulltilt for rakeback after making my bonus on stars and I registered for a small MMT rebuy tonight and noticed their was less than 200 people playing. On stars their would generally be like 10x that amount of people. My first question is WHY?? my second question is for the most part is the competition toughter in the MMT's on full tilt or stars? I play the small buy-ins hoping to stay away from people that will probably be responding to this post, generally around 2 dollars.

Stars has been a site longer hence more players. Even though in the past few years full tilt has gone crazy with the tv ads.

6 months ago FT was even smaller then it was now, since the americans got banned from party alot of them moved over.
