Default Calling down with second pair.

Villain is TAG, probably a 2p2er. My image is probably on the loose side of TAG (so far I've done nothing too crazy, no light call downs or huge bluffs)

Party Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 4 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

UTG: $200
BTN: $200
Hero (SB): $338.64
BB: $624.87

Pre-Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $8</font>, BB calls $6

Flop: ($16) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $11</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $35</font>, Hero calls $24

Turn: ($86) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">BB bets $70</font>, Hero calls $70

River: ($226) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">BB bets $130</font>, Hero calls $130

Flame away.

Presumably your reasoning is that he would rr AT+ pf and would check behind one time with a weaker ace? So he sometimes has 44, A4, JT (?) but often some kind of missed draw or air?

I wouldn't really have the guts to call down here myself. It seems to involve making too many optimistic assumptions (how long had you been playing with him?) Also he could have something like QhJh and be bluffing with the best hand. But then I'm not very good.

little value in a flop bet. if he's going to play back alot at you anyway betting to protect your equity on this board is pointless too.

Are you putting him squarely on a missed FD?

Yes, that's my reasoning. I also believe that he wouldn't turn KJ/QJ into a bluff.

Basically either a flush draw or AT, AA, 44, A4s and sometimes pure air.
