New Look For Blogs - Please Commnent

[Cry Me A River]

So I did a little research - This is the potential new look for blogs. It's not quite as fancy as what we're using now, however, it should be more compatible with browsers since it only uses Javascript, no Flash. This should also be much less resource intensive. Not that anybody mentioned any problems, but the potential could have been there (ie: when FTP was having lag problems).



I completely redid the colours due to contrast problems with a bunch of the previous ones. If anyone really hates the colour scheme (or their colour), it's not a big deal to change. I almost went with just Red/Green/Blue but that seemed a little boring.



The link to the software's origin (FeedSweep) is more prominent, but, it's a free site so I don't feel it's too big a deal.



If anyone sees any problems, please let me know. Otherwise, I'd like to hear what you think.

My intention has been to rotate the position of the blogs every month. If people are browsing the blogs rather than jumping straight to specific blogs then the top is a more favorable position than the bottom.

However, that was probably a better idea when we only had a half dozen blogs. I have two more blogs to add this afternoon so that will bring us to 20. I'll alphabetize when I add those.

Another thing this new syndicator allows us to do is published a merged feed. Below are the 20 most recent posts taken from ALL blogs. If you're reading all blogs you'd really only need to read this one list. I'll be adding something similar to this to the new layout:
