Welcome to the 2007 World Series of Poker. The biggest poker event in history is set to begin. Thousands of poker players are vying for their shot of the Hundreds of Millions of dollars to be given away this year. It will be no easy road for Joe Shmo. The pros are out in full force looking for their piece of the prize and competing to be the best in the game. After a tough year for poker this shining event remains untouched by Bill Frist and his political goons.

The world series gets underway and is a smashing success. Record fields appear in every tournament. It is finally time for the main event. Incredibly over 15,000 entrants make their way into the event making for a prize pool over $150,000,000!!! There is an unexpected visitor to this event. Bill Frist has made his presence known Our story begins as the field is whittled down to the final table.

Before play begins, Mike Matasow speeks up: "Listen up donkeys, I'm about to roll

through this table. Who here has the balls, lets do it WINNER TAKE ALL!!!

Everyone laughs looking at Mike's lone 50k chip, but suprising he looks dead serious and isnt' budging. people start to look around, each believing this was there year. There was a consensus. This year the winner would recieve ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS!!! OMG!!!

The rich and powerful have come out to see the action today. The ownership of Ceasars Entertainment, MGM Marage, and Harrah's Entertainment are seen in amoungst the spectators.

Money is brought out from the back, crate after crate filling up a dozen tables looking like the following:

All of a sudden the lights go out and gunshots are heard. BANG BANG BANG. Minutes go by but nothing else is heard. Finally the emergency powers kick in. The crowd gasps at 2 frightening sights. The first, and the lesser horror, is boiler_bd the chip leader is found dead. Apparently he will not be getting his 14th bracelet of the series. A shot to the dead had ended his impressive ownage of the competition to this point. The second and evern more horrifying was the money. One Hundred million dollars had vanished! The building is searched but none of it is found. The good news is everyone is still accounted for as the building went into lock down when the power went out, that is everyone but one man (Bill Frist). Security is confident he is around somewhere though. He couldn't have done this by himself, there are robbers about. A team conspiring against the series to take down some hard core loot.

Security is devastated to see many of their weapons stolen during the raid. This could be one ugly mess. With so much money out there, who knows, one might try to kill everyone just to score the loot for themselves.

A letter is found on the middle of the poker table. The announcer picks it up and reads it:

"Poker is over, finished. It is a demon and a curse to society. Tonight we purge the world of its sin. Never again shall this event take place. Our demands, simple. Our resilience, infinite. You will open the back entrance and let us out with the cash and in addition the major casino's in Las Vegas will be signed over to us. Ceasars Entertainment, MGM Marage, and Harrah's Entertainment will be no more.
"

On the back there was another message:

"I have achieved great riches thanks to you suckers. I have been amoungst you all this time and played you for suckers. I challenge your best to a game of chance in which I will demonstrate my ownership of the metagame. Pick now, the stakes we play will be high and the risk taken by the individual great"

They all stood around in silence until one man stepped forward. A man of great daring and intellect. "I will play these fools to the death" he pronounced.

GAME Roles and Rules

The village consists of the honest players and spectators of the poker community. They want to see the money returned to the game and the final table played out.

The evil faction wants to steal the money for themselves. Some of them are rumored to have actually been players...

There are also a few people who have other plans and want the money for themselves or maybe they just want to be shot.

********GOOD ROLES*********

Phil Ivey - seer role - known for his innane ability to read into people's souls he can pick up on one person's true intentions each night. Gets a peek each night beginning N0.

Daniel Negreanu - seer role - great at reading people, but not as strong as Ivey. He gets a peek every other night beginning night 1. If Ivey dies he gains his strength and is promoted to full seer. Masons with Matasow.

Mike Matasow - Ticking time bomb. He is going to blow up it is only a question of when. Rumor has it he has acquired some explosives he found during the chaos. Don't fret his heart is still pure. He must blow himself up before the end of day 3, otherwise he will die and 2 random players will be killed. He must post KABOOM in bold and himself, and the players who posted before and after his last post will be killed. (the post before kaboom). He is also masons with Negreanu.

In this case Jill, Bill, and Dan die since they are the closest on each side of his post that is blown up without repeats. It goes onto Bill since Jill is on both sides.

Doyle Bruson - king of poker, he can cancel the lynch and replace it by pming the mod any day. He is masons with Lee Jones.

Lee Jones - good poker player, see below. Masons with Doyle Brunson.

*******Neutral*********

Phil Helmuth - classic serial killer role (kills every other night beginning with N1). If Raymer dies he gets a kill every night. Wins if he is the final player remaining. He gets a peek every night beginning night zero.

Greg Raymer - rival to Phil he is determine to steal the money before Phil gets it. Wins if he is the last player remaining. He gets a kill every other night beginning night 2. If Phil dies he gets a kill every night. He gets a peek every night beginning night 0.

Elvis Impersonator - a looney man who dresses like elvis and makes a living marrying couples in a chapel down the street. Wanting to belong he tries to convince the people he is a robber. Wins if he is killed by a pro-village action. His vote counts as zero in a must lynch round.

Jamie Gold - looking to bust people he is now looking to take out a few of the members present. His goal will be to get pro-village players on a list lynched. His vote counts as zero in a must lynch round.

******EVIL*******

Bill Frist - leader of the takeover, he gets a peek every other night beginning N0.

generic evil - working with Frist on the takeover. Identities unknown.

evil poker player - see below, identity unkown.

Traitor - the character has to choose at the end of night 2 one character. If that character is good the traitor looses and dies. If the character is evil he joins the evil team. If that character is neutral the traitor may try again.

one time vigilantees – 3 total, some may gain this power as the game progresses, arms are abundent and many amoung you will have the power to take lives.

*********High Stakes Poker***********

Lee Jones and the rival poker player will pick a card each night. The goal will be to beat the other players card. Here is how it works. Each player picks a card 9 through ace. If your card is higher than the other players card you win. The catch is that 9 will beat an ace. There will be people to take over if Lee Jones/evil poker player dies. If the good poker player dies the succession goes Brunson > Matasow > Negreanu > Ivey. If the evil poker player dies he will be replaced by one of the two generic evils followed by Bill Frist. The stakes go up each night until night 3, after that night the stakes will be minor.

Lee Jones and the evil poker player may give me a message to be posted along with lynch results for metagame purposes.

A - evil team immune from night kills
K – evil team immune from night kills
Q - 3 evils immune from night kills
J - 3 evils immune from night kills
T - 2 evils immune from night kills
9 - 2 evil immune to night kills

Good wins and beats evils:
A - 6 good immune from night kills (determined at random)
K - 5 goodimmune from night kills (determined at random)
Q - 4 good immune from night kills (determined at random)
J - 3 good immune from night kills (determined at random)
T - 2 good immune from night kills (determined at random)
9 - 1 good immune to night kills (determined at random)

N2
Evil wins and beats good:
A - evil immune + extra kill +evil peek + one random evil immune to lynch next day
K - evil immune + evil peek + one random evil immune to lynch next day
Q - evil immune + evil peek
J - 3 evil immune
T - 3 evil protected
9 - 3 evil protected

N2
good wins and beats evil:
A – peek for Lee Jones + 2 protects – Lee Jones picks
K – peek for Lee Jones + 1 protect - Lee Jones picks
Q – peek for Lee Jones
J – Lee Jones and Doyle Brunson immune to night kills
T - 2 protects – Lee Jones picks
9 - 2 protects – Lee Jones picks

Evil wins and beats good:
A - poker player and king die
K - poker player dies, evil immune, evil peek, good miss seer peek
Q - poker player dies, evil immune, good miss seer peek
J - poker player dies, evil immune, evil peek
T - poker player dies, evil immune
9 - poker player dies

good wins and beats evil:
A - evil poker player dies + seer peek for Lee Jones + 50% of village protected
K - evil poker player dies + peek for Lee Jones
Q - evil poker player dies
J – Lee Jones seer peek + 50% of village protected
T - Lee Jones seer peek
9 - 50 % of village protected

N4 -> end of game
Minor, not known at this time

Good win condition – eliminate all evil characters and both serial killers
Evil win condition – eliminate all pro village characters
Helmuth/Raymer win condition – be the last player remaining, they win in a final 3 where each member is on a different team.
Jamie Gold – win condition is to get the village to kill some of its own (unknown which ones or how many).
Elvis Impersonator – win condition is to get himself killed by a pro village action.
Traitor – win condition is to join the evil team night 2 and win with the evils.
