Default RPS Game Thread

Winning
There are three ways to win:
1. Be the last player left
2. Be at a deadlock with 1 or 2 other players
3. Successfully identify all the remaining players' categories (but this option leaves when the players left drop below n+2, where n is the number of players assigned to each group)

Game Play
Everyone is asigned a category at the start of the game: equal number of Rock, Paper, and Scissors. You only are told your own category (i.e. 'Rocks' are not a gang of rocks, they are just a bunch of individual rocks.)

Everyone can vote normally, but you can also lock your vote with a lock X. This is highly encouraged. Day will end when everyone has locked their vote or after 24 hours. There are no night actions, except 'you bet your life' (see below), so the game really can proceed as fast or slow as the players want (and it means the mod doesn't have to be a slave to the thread ever )

At the end of the day, the mod tallies the votes. If a cast for who it loses to (e.g. a rock votes for a paper) it counts for zero votes. If cast for the same category, it counts for one. If cast for the who it beats, two. The final votes (who voted for whom) will be posted with the actual tally for the top two (calculated) scores.

Note: You cannot vote for yourself, nor can you abstain from voting.

You Bet Your Life
If, before the number of players drops to 1/3 of the field + 2 (after the day's lynch) a player thinks they have all of the other player's categories figured out, they can choose to risk it all for the immediate win. Durring the day their vote counts as normal, and the day proceeds as normal. Anyone can post I bet my life and after the day is over, and the lynch results revealed, PM me their guesses. You cannot unbet your life, it is totally binding so think before you post it. Again, everything is the same for the day period, but this is the one case where there is a non day action. Any number of people may bet their life durring an elligible day.

End Game
There are three ways the end game can resolve:
1. One each of R, P and S make it to the final three and all vote for who they beat or who beats them. This results in a three way tie.
2. The final two are the same category, this results in a two way tie.
3. The final two are different categories, and there is a single winner.

Other Rules
Night Posting is allowed, all communication must take place in the game thread

actually,
Herbie
was the one who calculated all those probabilities in Hacker Attack.

It's clear that those who are not so great at math need to gang up on the people who shined in Hacker-Attack. I.E. Herbie, Zurvan

Mod Note:
The reason that you need to have at least 6 people to bet your life is that with 5, theoretically, there could be say 4 of one type left and the fifth has a cheap lock.
