FCBL,

If this man stays on, you are well out of this. Working for people like that crushes your soul, and your soul deserves better.

If you can make your case against him and keep your job while no longer having to deal with him, wonderful. If not, that frees you go go somewhere where being a human being will be a plus, not a minus.

Or, you know, we can just organize the lynchmob for him now.

FCBL,

life is short. if you aren't happy with your work, find new work. they did you a favor. you'll find a better opportunity.

gl, enjoy life. don't take orders from someone that doesn't respect you.

The problem was I was VERY HAPPY with the work and with the organization. I worked nights, and usually only had to deal with this guy once a week or so.

I hoped to outlast him

At least you didn't get terminated for reading 2+2. (poor me)
I got terminated because I was using the internet when I wasn't supposed to have access. I had access in my previous position in the same department. I used to for business purposes and to read 2+2 and espn.com on my break. They told me they were setting up a computer account for me specifically, but when I asked for a transfer to a different department, I got the walk to HR. I was ungrateful for all the help and mentoring they gave me.
But I am happier now, and trying to get a job doing something I actually enjoy.

FCBL,

Life sucks sometimes. Sorry to hear about your situation. These things tend to come full circle so I'm sure your boss will get what he deserves someday.

Example: My wife had a boss who was a real jerk, to her and everyone else. Three months after my wife quit, he got busted for espionage.

I'm sure you'll find an even better job. Not that it will ever top villager me lynching villager you, but hey, you can't have it all.

Keep your head up.

Dan

hang in there FCBL

You'll get out of this in better shape than you started out in. You don't want to work for people that make you feel like crap.

Good luck with your next step, whatever that may be.

Chris
