Unbelievable this guy went from IU head coach to Miami in, what, five years? I like it though, but I think anyone taking that job is just getting hired to be fired in 3-4 years anyway.

You can hardly deny his skill as an O-Coordinator.

Just in case it isn't obvious, this just adds salt to San Diego's wounds. Losing OCs and DCs are tough to deal with. The Chargers may lose more of their coaching staff.

This year may have been the Chargers' best chance to win the Super Bowl.

He is your typical great OC, horrible head coach.

I would have gone outside the box with either Marty's kid, June Jones or the Boise State guy.

Don Shula retired (with a little help from Wayne)
Jimmy Johnson retired
Dave Wannstedt retired (he was probably going to be fired at the end of the season)
Nick Saban left

Nobody gets fired.

My point was more that I think Miami has a high likelihood to tank. They aren't very good to begin with and I believe they have a pretty old roster for such a mediocre team.

Though if Culpepper returned to form they could hold that decline off easier for a year or two.

what could you be basing this on?

June Jones: [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] but I think it'd take a ton of money to get him out of Hawaii. Not that anyone seems interested.
