I think I bet a little more on the flop, like 23 or so but thats negligible, and the 7 is a pretty good card for your hand. I think betting about 50 into this pot is a solid move.

much more? going by 4BBs + 1BB per limper = raise to 8, so i was 1 short of this (i realize this isn't always a good rule to go by)

I would bet 55. If he pushes then it's tough. What would people do in the face of a push? I would probably be incilined to call but i'm not sure.

You're betting too little both pre-flop and flop. Make it $9 or $10. You're OOP, you definitely don't wanna make it multiway. On flop, please bet pot or very close to it. 2/3 pot with 4 people seeing the flop makes it hard to play.
