I am 0/6 in this tourney, haven't even made it past the 2nd hour yet so let's hope something happens this time. I'm not a big fan of the structure of the 1st hour but I'm trying to adjust. gl

mine was dumb
54s in sb, folds around, I have 1.6k and he covers. I raise 3x, he calls. flop comes KT9 two spades, i check he checks. Turn comes 9 and I bet 2/3 pot, he calls. K comes on river, I push for about 3/4 of the pot and he calls with KJ and I am in pwntown.

tripled up from short stack when QQ > AK & KJ, then 77 pwns AJ when AJ bets 1k into a 7 10 2 flop, and calls my 700 more reraise. sitting at 4.4k. Before the 77 hand I made a tight fold, was this an extremely dumb fold? I know after the flop it looks like a bad preflop fold, but for some reason I put the original raiser on AA. Should I still just call preflop? Or should I have re-raised originally preflop?
