Default My set of 9\'s check raises the flop......you like???

Well, with the flush draw on board, and two other players, i hated to see a diamond hit the board on the turn. Was this play correct, or should i have risked a diamond to extract another round of betting from villains??

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

Hero (SB): $107.55
BB: $171.34
UTG: $93.88
MP: $19.97
CO: $129.31
BTN: $28.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
2 folds, <font color="red">CO raises to $4.00</font>, BTN calls $4.00, Hero calls $3.50, BB calls $3.00

Flop: ($16) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players)
Hero checks, BB checks, <font color="red">CO bets $11.00</font>, BTN calls $11.00, <font color="red">Hero raises to $33.00</font>, 2 folds, BTN calls all-in for $13.50
Uncalled bet of $8.50 returned to Hero

Turn: ($76) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

River: ($76) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $76.00 ($3 Rake)

BTN had A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$28.50)
Hero had 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Nines) and WON (+$44.50)

I like what you are thinking but you need to consider stack sizes here.

Realistically if Btn has the FD he's calling the c/r regardless. So you can essentially consider yourself HU vs CO. So I would change my play based on my read of CO.

Good point about short stack being of importance.. One consideration i didn't mention though, is that I must check to CO to let him "lead" again on turn, and if he has the draw, he probably will give himself a free card..... thoughts?
