Alright, since everyone agrees that it's a call, I'll just say what I did and you guys can tell me why calling's better.

Blinds 25/50.

Preflop:
Hero (3.3k) raises to 175 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Villain (2.1k) calls in the SB.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Pot = 400
We both check.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Villain bets 300 leaving himself like 1600 more. I make it 600.

Well, it is a way around my concern - a kind of pre-emptive block bet as you are in position. My problem would be, I still probably call almost any bet on almost any river. Assuming he calls here, are there any rivers that wouldn't see you calling a push?

yea, but are you really getting another bet out of him on the river after min raising? calling turn you can get him to bluff for more than 300, or value bet more than that if he checks

edit: though, he's only gonna hae 1k back on the river, he might not be able to find a fold w/ just an A. I dunno, i think this minraise is gonna spook him more than it's gonna get you more action.

there's bluffing, and then there's all kinds of different levels of strength in value-raising.

does that matter in this hand? If I raise, 750 looks much better.
